Which students can meet with an OAAS advisor?
Our advisors will work with all LA&S undeclared or exploratory students. Additionally, we will see students from any college who are exploring a different major or minor outside of their current college.
Once I declare my major, can I still meet with an OAAS advisor?
Our advisors work with undeclared and exploratory students only. If you are declared in a major and intend to keep it, you should no longer meet with an OAAS advisor. You will be assigned a major field advisor who will be able to help you.
I declared my major already, but Campus Connection still indicates that my assigned advisor is in OAAS. What gives?
If this is the case for you, feel free to call your academic department and ask who your new assigned advisor will be. You can use the DePaul Online Directory to locate your department's phone number.
